How do I start using Sia Satellite?

Create an account.
Fund your account.
Download and install the forked version of renterd available here.
In the UI of renterd, go to the Satellite page and fill in the required fields. Then, enable the Satellite and save the config.

I signed up but never received a verification email.

Check your spam folder. The email might have ended up there.

Certain email services providers can also block emails containing links. In particular, icloud.com reportedly blocks such emails. Unfortunately, there is little we can do about it. If possible, please try a different email address.

I'm trying to sign in, but nothing happens.

It can happen, for instance, if you are trying to sign in from a different device than previously. Please clear the cookies and try again. If it doesn't help, let us know, and we will fix the issue ASAP.

Why are the fees such weird-looking numbers?

The fees are tied to the price of Siacoin. As the exchange rate of Siacoin fluctuates, so do the fees.
